Tine Destrooper will chair a panel at a two-day expert workshop (on invitation only), bringing together around 60-70 participants. These participants will be researchers from academia and think tanks; civil society representatives and; African Union, European Union and United Nations officials, as well as representatives from interested EU and AU member states.
Due to Covid-related travel restrictions, the workshop will be organized as an online event. The workshop will consist of four panels, organized in a roundtable format. The four panels will be spread over two half days. For each panel, 2-3 speakers will briefly present some key points, followed by a roundtable discussion with all participants
